8.3.4 Iraq as a Threat to the Security of Israel

Israel would be threatened by an Iraq with weapons of mass-destruction, and it had a foreign policy of Self-Protection – having successfully carried out a pre-emptive strike against Iraq in the past (7.3.2.2). It could therefore be expected to support the invasion of Iraq.
